Symptoms
Cancer manifests itself in many ways. We have listed below many of the symptoms that can signal cancer. Should you notice any of these symptoms, do not panic, but make an appointment to discuss them with your veterinarian. Initial diagnostics can include blood tests or a needle aspirate.

  1. A lump or swelling that persists or continues to grow, especially in the lymph nodes.

  1. Discharge or bleeding from an body opening.

  1. An offensive odor from your pet's mouth or body.

  1. Loss of appetite or unexplained weight loss.

  1. Difficulty chewing or swallowing.

  1. Hesitation to exercise or loss of energy.

  1. A swollen abdomen.

  1. Chronic vomiting or diarrhea, especially if they are dark or bloody.

  1. Persistent lameness or stiffness.

10. Pale or white gums or tongue.
